Heat Treatment Policy
Trusted by logistics providers and exporters. We provide certified ISPM 15 Heat and Fumigation services to ensure all pallets and crates meet international export regulations.
Our heat treatment facilities are fully accredited under the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) standards for ISPM 15 compliance. Every treated pallet, crate, or dunnage piece is tracked, verified, and stamped with a unique treatment code traceable to our facility.
Our Singapore facility operates under accreditation from the National Parks Board (NParks), while our Johor Bahru facility is regulated by the Malaysian Quarantine and Inspection Services (MAQIS). By maintaining recognised phytosanitary treatment and documentation standards, we help customers prepare wooden packaging for shipment to major markets, including the EU, United States, Australia, China, and ASEAN countries.
This gives exporters clearer treatment records and reduces the risk of avoidable customs delays or rejected wood packaging.
Export-bound pallets and crates undergo ISPM 15 heat treatment before dispatch, with each batch recorded and tracked through the treatment process. These orders are kept separate from untreated domestic stock while in our warehouses.
During treatment, we monitor and log the required temperature and duration. Once the batch is cleared, the pallets are marked for compliance and issued with digital certificates for customs clearance and verification.
Domestic orders are supplied untreated as standard, though heat treatment can be arranged where required.
- Treatment spec: Heat treat to 56 °C for 30 min (wood core); probe-logged and saved against your batch ID.
- Marking: IPPC/ISPM 15 stamp on two sides (Country–Facility–HT = Heat Treated). Repaired pallets are re-treated and re-marked.
- Segregation: Treated lots are held in clearly marked areas to avoid mixing with untreated pallets.
- Documentation: Treatment Certificate (PDF) + traceability sheet (SKUs, quantities, work performed). Probe summaries are available on request.
- At customs: Match batch ID to certificate and verify stamps.
- Special cases we handle: Composite panels (technically exempt under ISPM 15), moisture dry-down, unique customer policies (HT-only).
